Copper Tree of Life - Session One
Class Level: Beginner to Intermediate
This is a two session class: May 3rd 8:30a-11:30a and May 10th 8:30a-11:30a
Students will learn how to create this beautiful Tree of Life and attach it to a focal stone. Skills learned will include the basics of working with wire, how to “sculpt” the tree using regular round wire, how to attach a stone to a frame, how weave a bail using a basic weave pattern and how to patina and polish copper.

This class will be in two sessions, April 17th and April 24th. Students in the first session will learn how to start and weave a Viking Knit chain using copper wire. Students will take home their work and continue to weave. Upon a return to class students will learn how to use a draw plate, create ends caps and a clasp. Depending on how much weaving is done between classes students will be able to create a bracelet or necklace.

Students will learn how to construct a bracelet using handmade beaded links. The instructor will have several beads, crystals and charms for students to design their perfect piece! Skills learned will include the properties of working with wire, creating wrapped loops and beads to create a chain link, proper use of jump rings and basic elements of design. Students will also be provided with a step by step tutorial so they can continue creating on their own!

Join us for a captivating class where you'll learn basic wire weaving techniques to create your very own exquisite Crystal Leaf Pendant. Discover the beauty of weaving wire to form the piece. If you have difficulty seeing, reading glasses or a magnifying glass is strongly encouraged!

Skills learned will include some basics of wire work including making tight coils, using headpins to create wrapped loops, hammering and attaching ear wires.

Create an adorable wire and beaded pumpkin pendant using a flat-back cabochon and copper wire. Discover how form the pumpkin and bail with copper wire. The instructor will have tools on hand, including wire, cabochon, beads and more.
The instructor will have jewelry tools available for student use, however if they have their own they are encouraged to bring them. If students have difficulty seeing small details magnifying glasses are strongly encouraged.

Hand Painted Earrings
Beginner Friendly! Create unique, artistic earrings using a wood blank to paint on with acrylics, watercolors, markers or a mix of media. Students can freeform their design or get help from the instructor. No artistic ability needed! Students will learn how to properly attach ear wires as well as be able to decorate their earrings with bead if desired. Ear hooks will be provided.

Crystal Leaf Pendant - Wire Weaving
Make this beautiful copper and crystal leaf using basic wire weaving techniques. Students will learn how to weave and form the piece.
Supplies: All supplies are included.
Tools: Please bring your own jewelry tools if you have them. The instructor will have tools on hand for student use.
Skill Level: Beginner. Previous experience working with wire is a plus.
